| Brainstorm with your class what a good citizen is. Examples are sharing, picking up trash in the yard and being respectful. Ask your kindies what rules would help to be a 'Top Notch Kindergarten Citizen'. Commit to a good citizen strategy in the classroom. Have buttons and a jar available. When you see a student showing good citizenship put a button in the jar. At the end of each week review the number of buttons in the jar. If an agreed amount of buttons are in the jar at the end of the month celebrate with certificates or some kind of reward. |
